FAQ's

Service During COVID

Little Glamp Party will operate within the Ontario Government's coloured COVID framework. We will serve clients as follows:


At the moment Little Glamp Party is closed for Glamping setups. We hope to re-open as soon as the Provincial shutdown has ended and regions are in the COVID colour of Red or better. We are taking bookings for May 17th onwards. 

How long do I rent a package for?

Premium 1 Night and 2 Night setups are taken down by Little Glamp Party the next day/two days later. We normally offer 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm (these may be slightly different according to booking locations to account for travel time). 

Are delivery and setup included?

Absolutely! All Premium 1 Night and 2 Night setup packages include delivery, setup and take down within our service area. Book early as this fills up quickly.  

Please see our fees for parties outside our service area in our 'Pricing' area. 

What if I live in an apartment/condominium building?

Apartment and condominium units can require elevator access generally require longer set-up times and/or increased staff and are subject to an additional $75 fee. This would be in addition to the out of area fee if applicable.

What payment methods are accepted?

We ask that deposits and balance payments be made by e-transfer to remain contactless.

What is you cancellation/refund policy?

If your event is cancelled, Little Glamp Party will offer a full refund of your deposit.  Alternatively, if you would like to change your date, we will work with you to try and accommodate the new date. Our business is to make children happy without the added stress for parents! 

How much room is needed for the setup?

Please have the glamping space clear before Little Glamp Party arrives to

setup. If there is any furniture to be moved, please do so in advance of our

arrival for set-up. Little Glamp Party will not be able to help you move furniture

around. 

The assembled tent base of each tent is approximately 4 feet in width by 5 feet in length with the tray table place at the end of the mattress or closer to 6ft in length when the tray table is placed on the floor in front of the mattress.

Many of our clients have found that setup in a basement or living room works

after moving around the furniture to make room for sleepover parties and

birthday parties.

How long is set up and take down?

Glamping/sleepover set ups can typically take up to 2 hours for 5 tent packages. This includes the time it takes us to transfer all equipment in from the car. Take down is usually 40 minutes up to1 1/2 hours depending on the set-up details.

Can tents be rented for outdoors?

Yes! During the months of June, July and August we have a selection tents that can be use outdoors with a ground mat underneath. We ask that if you have rented them for an overnight period that the tents be brought indoors overnight. This avoids unexpected bad weather, animal issues and automated sprinkler systems. 

New for 2021 we will be introducing 'Aurora' our outdoor glamping Bell Tent. This can sleep 6 guests. More details and photos to come. This will be available this spring!

Do I have to clean the equipment before I return it?

No thank you! We ask that you please leave that up to us. We make sure everything is sanitized and washed upon return. We wash the linens with Tide Free & Gentle with an additive that kills viruses & bacteria and dry on a high heat setting. We spend a lot of time disinfecting all the other items like tray tables, tent poles, lighting and lanterns. We also spray our tents and plush items with a concentrated sanitizing fabric refresher. The final step is steaming the tents inside and out! We have also introduced UV light sanitizing to our process.

Are pets allowed in the tents?

No thank you. We ask that you please keep the air mattresses and tents pet free. Their paws/claws may puncture the mattresses, rip the fabrics and transfer pet hair and dander. Little Glamp Party stores all tents in a smoke and pet free home.

How long do I rent a Picnic package for?

Luxury Picnics are rented for the day for outdoor setups. Typically, Little Glamp Party would arrive between 8am and 10am to setup up (this can take approximately two hours). Little Glamp Party would return to take down no later than 8pm. Indoor picnic set ups may be kept overnight. Little Glamp Party will confirm the return/take down time at time of booking.

Do you take custom theme requests?

Unfortunately, due to how many themes we carry, we do not take custom theme requests. 'Aurora' our new outdoor glamping Bell Tent can be setup with any theme we carry. 

Can your tents and children's photo props be rented for a photo shoot?

Absolutely! If you are simply renting one tent for a photo shoot please let us know because we can provide you with coordinating pillow covers, a coordinating pad for the tent and in some cases small faux fur rugs. We have lots of lovely children's photo props and handmade bunting. Our tents provide a lovely backdrop for photos. This is very popular for:

  • Newborn photos
  • Birthday parties: 1st birthday cake smash, 2nd, and 3rd birthday photos
  • Holiday Photos: Chinese New Year, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Canada Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas.
  • Candid photos of flower girls, ring bearers, and page boys all dressed up and playing in the tent for weddings

What are the rules for tent rentals?

The majority of our tents are handmade right here in Canada (Burnaby, BC and Newmarket, ON). We ask that you treat the tents and equipment with care, as if it was your own.  We ask that you are careful when setting up the air mattresses to ensure there are no sharp objects that can puncture them. We understand that children will eat snacks in the tents/on the trays however we ask that you avoid providing food that can stain and ruin the bedding and tent covers such as pizza, spaghetti, Dorito chips, grape juice etc. The tray table for sleepover parties and birthday parties can always be moved to an area where the kids can eat without worrying about getting the tent or bedding stained.

COVID-19 Precautions

For all sleepover parties and birthday parties we ask all clients to please complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire within 24hrs of the party. The questions will be identical to those located on our government's website: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/coronavirus/docs/2019_patient_screening_guidance.pdf Little Glamp Party will take the same questionnaire and replay to you by email. If you have made arrangements for Little Glamp Party to deliver/set up and take down your party, only one person will show up to your location. They will be wearing a 2-layer mask plus filter (3 layers in total) and will keep their distance to respect the 6ft social distancing guideline. We prepare as much as we can prior to arrival to limit the amount of time needed for setup.
